Re: fasting & energy

Hello no username,
we shall have to agree to differ.

But just to comment on a few of the more salient points..........

The GENESIS quotation may have been made before the fall of man, but GOD saw the plant kingdom as the IDEAL food for man. The first five books of the Old Testament are the word of God and cannot be changed.

The origin of ALL nutrition for the animal kingdom ultimately comes from plants and the vegetable kingdom, as I have outlined in a previous post..............
"whether someone is a meat-eater, strict vegetarian, herbivore, omnivore or whatever, the nutrition ultimately comes from the vegetable kingdom.
Carnivores by definition, eat other animals, but they also eat the WHOLE animal, including the blood, organs, flesh and so on; these consumed animals, for the most part, feed on grasses and plants and other nutritious elements from the vegetable kingdom. So, one way or another, ALL animals derive their nutrition from the vegetable kingdom, either directly or indirectly."

Yes it is true that some peoples longevity is far longer than others, where there may be many variables affecting this, such as freedom from stress, diet, fresh air, clean water, exercise and so on, but scientific studies can be manipulated as I have evidenced myself.

One has only to examine the extreme longevity of The Hunzas...........

"their diet is composed of grains: barley, millet, buckwheat and wheat.
They also eat fruits and vegetables on a regular basis. For the most part, these are consumed fresh and raw, although some vegetables are cooked for a short time. Their preferred fruits and vegetables include potatoes, string beans, peas, carrots, turnip, squash, spinach, lettuce, apples, pears, peaches, apricots, cherries and blackberries. They also have a particular fondness for apricot pits.

Milk and cheese are important sources of animal protein. Meat, although not completely eliminated, is consumed only very rarely, reserved for special occasions like marriages or festivals. This fact is no doubt one of the reasons why the Hunzas have such healthy digestive systems. Even when meat is served, portions are very small: meat is cut into small pieces and stewed for a long time. Beef and mutton are rarely used - chicken is their most common source of animal protein.

The important thing to remember is that although the Hunzas are not wholly vegetarian, meat forms a minimal part of their daily diet.

They generally eat meat only once a week, if that often, and live longer and stay healthier than we do."
