Re: fasting & energy
Hi l*u*l*u*,
your energy levels while fasting will will depend mostly on your current state of toxemia: the more toxemic you are, the less energy you will experience while detoxing, as your body is using all of its energies in doing so.
However, once your body has largely rid itself of its accumulated waste, then your bodily energy and strength will increase up to a certain point during an extended fast.
Thereafter, healing becomes a priority for your body.
A clean and healed body will reveal itself with increased vigour and strength, where as a result, you will feel completely rejuvenated (especially post-fast).
In addition, one fast (even to completion) is not always sufficient to achieve these goals, and a second fast may be required for the body to complete its work.
It is also well known amongst Natural Hygienists, that once the body has completed these goals of self-healing and self-repair, the genuine return of real hunger will occur in as little as several days or less, and if proper living & feeding habits are strictly adhered to post-fast, then that process will continue ad infinitum.
I wish you all the best on your 21 day fast, but to achieve the maximum benefits I would advise the maximum amount of rest to conserve your food reserves and enrgies for healing and cleansing. (Shelton).
Patience is really a virtue here.
