If it were really true that The commandments could be summed up as: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself", then why all the need for so many commandments ? The bible is soooo full of contradictions, as anyone capable of thinking for themselves can plainly see.

Regarding my citation of Romans, you reply that:

"This passage is not about being in debt. this passage is Paul setting up more of his concepts of the law."

Well, if it's not about debt, then why did it say to owe nothing to anyone but to love them ? The operative word is "owe". If you can't see that owe and debt are inter-related, then your preachers have brainwashed you. I suspect that you're probably up to your ears in debt-usury, which is why you desire to twist the meaning of this passage so that you can still think you're a "Christian" and saved, etc.

Please do tell, what you think the word "adultery" means.
