My conscience is clear. I'm not the one that is telling people they are going to drive their children to suicide if they don't listen to my advice. And nobody has disrespected your experiences or called them insignificant. My critism of you is that you did that very thing to the person here reaching out for support.

You have no idea about my life. It's not hidden though if you want to read what 'qualifications' I have to be here they are easy to find. And none of them are academic. My Depression and my pain and my grief are no less relevant than yours and if you want to pick on them find out what you're picking on first. Then you can make all the comparisons you like and compete against my sufferings, all power to you.

Again I say that I didn't belittle your experience at any point only your lack of support and overbearing and insulting and demeaning comments to this poster.

Your last paragraph smacks of a very thinly veiled threat.

"Next time you disregard/belittle someone else's present OR past EXPERIENCE (it is not PAIN to me, it is where I come from, my PAST), realize that it is YOU who are haunted. The reason may be simply that what they say offends your imagined superiority ("clinical scholar") and ego, or it may be that you have disdain for them because what they say offends your conscience, but beware if they have RECOVERED without YOUR 'great superior help', they might just write you a post like this (regardless of the fact that you may have already been depressed before reading this). If you are used to stepping on people's toes, at least for your own sake, be careful whose you step on. Beware of SURVIVORS, you only know the world that can be seen, we know the world that can be FELT.

I insulted your nickname I realise, for that and that alone I'm sorry. I think you would understand this though. Threatening someone who has been through the hell I have is a waste of time. Threats are just a joke when my life is already worse than you can obviously imagine. Not all survivors react by wanting to inflict the same pain on others, we are survivors just the same.
