More than One Reason to Grow Herbs

The natural supplement business is so large, it would put a whole lot of people out of work to shut it down. Not a good move during a recession. Everything always takes longer than projected. Shutting down all the vitamin factories is a plan that could very easily take forever.

Of greater concern is the potential extinction of precious plants like goldenseal, comfrey, ginkgo, and bloodroot. The more effective the plant medicine, the greater the demand for it. High level of consumption is threatening many species.

Another good reason to grow herbs in your yard, aside from quelling paranoia.
