The reason I declined so rapidly with my doctor is that I was taking high, once a day doses (100 mg) of ALA while I still had my filling in. This resulted in metal being pulled from the fillings to my brain and body resulting in acute mercury toxicity. And the stupid jerk did not know what he did! He has a famous holistic care center too, and charges $300 an hour too.

I just want to clarify that ALA is condidered safe in appropriate doses and timing, as long as you have no metal sources in your body.
