Re: EXCELLENT ADDITION! Re: The basic CURE for depression!

hehe Unquity. I call fasting an enlightened cure in this sense as I was comparing it to healing modalities like reiki and others in that only a small portion of the population are exposed to them or come close to understand them.

I do totally, or almost totally, agree about the chemical pollution in today's world. I find it no surprise that Hitler used fluoride in such a way, it's totally evil stuff to be polluting our water supplies with. In fact here in Australia they want to go a step further and use a fluoride spray to fumigate OPEN UNPROTECTED foodstores to protect them from insects. According the the regulations fluoride is actually partly treated as a toxin even in our water, and they limit it to 1 part per million here. And slightly less in hotter climes where people drink more. Unusual precaution for something that's safe, but with this new fumigation they plan to allow levels of up to 30 times per million to remain on the foods, BUT the foods will never be checked to see if they even have more. I was devastated on finding that out and have put my pitiful complaint in, I can filter my water or buy it, but I can't filter the fluoride out of the nuts and other grains.

And yes these things do effect us, maybe they effect most of us the way you say. But in my case and in many others I'm sure my soul searching, my awakening, came while still under the influence of all things evil. My choices have been ever more conscious since I was 12 years old, long before I was able to make any conscious changes to my body. I absolutely agree with you that having these vile things in and around us do influence us and more often than not in a negative way, but we are still intelligent enough to say 'no', what is missing is the strength, the motivation- the hope maybe that it will actually do good rather than harm to them. Being different aint all roses after all.

I was being too vague with my forced change thing. I was referring to Apocalypse theories, the Flood type stuff. I felt I was talking a lot about how the human race needed a cleansing but I don't believe it's that kind of a cleansing we need. :)

My personal thought on Human Nature is pretty involved. I think that while we were simple primates living in the trees living off fruit and berries we were thrown into something like an Ice Age. Forced to war on animals and our fellow man just to survive. And becoming 'civilised' during that time we have known very little else. We are still animals and need to make our own human nature still. I just hope we can stop being animals long enough to do it.

If you feel like answering when you get the chance I'll definitely read it. It's a thought provoking discussion.:)

Andrew.
