That is a good move Katherine. Don't back off from writing that letter. Just wait until your emotions get out of the way. You are the customer desperately looking for help. Too many times, people have gone through the same lack of support as you; and have also had their intelligence questioned, in your case - insulted, by people who are in the business to support them. My problem is that I cannot explain, to my doctor, what I really want; but I let him know that I'm not trying to bias his diagnosis. We have a good relationship due to that understanding. I just wish he would do more tests; instead of believing me.
