I have to work this weekend, in fact I have to work a lot and I am never very happy when I don’t have time to “play”. So…although this week has been pretty good overall, I don’t look forward to the upcoming week and thus my emotions are clouding my judgment of this week. It’s a shame.
I couldn’t work out this morning because the black pants I was going wear had a huge hole in the crotch. That would have been embarrassing for me…could have been thrilling for another gym-goer.
I am not much in the mood for juice lately and I want to drink water instead. But I don’t even want to drink much water. It seems strange that although I’m dehydrated, I don’t feel like drinking anything that will hydrate me.
Because we are approaching the 4th of July, I was thinking a lot about our fellow Americans and all the places they may be right now. Call it patriotic but I cherish America. I am often saddened that there is a great divide between “liberals” and “conservatives”. I am very liberal is some aspects and very conservative on others and I think many out there are a mix. And even if they aren’t…the world would be a boring place if we were all the same. Why can’t we just respect each other’s differences and be friends. No one said that everyone has to agree with each other to be friends. We have more in common than we have differences! Anyway…let’s all think about our role as “Americans” in the States and throughout the world. There is a lot we can gain from introspection.
Let’s think about our troops, our flood victims, our communities, and even those people that just want to become Americans so much they wait on a 15 year waiting list.
I love being an American and I hope everyone can find things they appreciate about America on this Independence Day weekend.
See Ya Fasters!
