Day 11, March 1st.
OK, now I have to put some thought and planning into breaking my fast carefully...

My first day was really a half day. I've always found that works best for me with beginning a juice fast. So I'll break my fast after lunch time tomorrow to make it a full 11 days. That's 4 more days than I've done before!
I've got mixed feelings about finishing. On the one hand I feel I'm going so well I could keep it up at least another week. But at the same time juice fasting has caused me a little bit of stress that I won't be sorry to see the back of (until next time, and then I hope to be better prepared for it!).
..The stress comes every night around dinner time. I make and drink extra juice so that I'm not hungry, but even so...for a full on hour and a half (at least) I am occupied with cooking and feeding everyone else. I push on through it, but every evening I still think to myself "this is crazy, CRAZY!" I'm not sure that my problem is with not eating, and I sure don't mind preparing good food for my family! The problem is more that I know I could be better prepared to make it easier on myself. The juice fast makes more work as it is (all the prepping veges and cleaning the machine 6 - 8 times a day), that I just don't have time to put much work into the family meal earlier in the day. Earlier I'm busy with the children's 4 other mealtimes anyway.
If I am to do a longer fast I have to spend a good week getting meals into the freezer for the eating people! Even if I do a short fast I'll make sure I'm prepared in that way because the stress I feel every late afternoon/early evening is probably counter productive in some way.
OK, now I have to put some thought and planning into breaking my fast carefully...
That mango is perfectly ripened, and looking GOOD! That mango and I have a late lunch date tomorrow!
