...And no headache!

I had a friend turn up unexpectedly after lunch and by the time she'd left, the kids were up and afternoon-tea'd it was a little after 4 before I could do my salt water flush.
Ugh....splutter....that was some salty water! According to my measuring spoons 1 Tablespoon is the same as 3 teaspoons. I've noticed on the forums that some people don't have any result from 2 teaspoons, so I was happy to try 3.

Result: Just over an hour later I flushed out some nasty looking stuff. Long blackish floaty rope-stuff that looked like it had knots tied in it. Enough info?? I'm guessing there was a few feet of the stuff. Also some soft matter (I'm assuming psyllium). It felt like the full 4 cups of flush liquid was evacuated, and all the salt I hope! I'm feeling a bit raw around the rear end, but overall much the better for my flush. No headache. Yeah!

DH had to cope with the dinnertime rush all by himself...I was still racing in and out of the bathroom...and he did well! Parsley omlettes all round for the kids, and avocado salad.

Feeling better after my flush, and buoyed by the results, I decided to take a teaspoon of fish oil. I had a ginger, parsley, cabbage and celery juice standing by and I chased the oil with that! No ill affects.

Oh...the crabapples. This afternoon I juiced some with fiesta cox apples. Yum. Sinfully sweet though! I made a glass for my visitor too and we drank it with ice.

Today I've had 6 glasses of juice again. I had been going to try 7 but I don't seem to have the time. Tomorrow I may be more organised as I'm going to prepare all my morning veges before DH leaves for work.
I'm going to try garlic in my juice tomorrow. And I'll aim for a salt water flush in the morning.

Today's high points (3!!!): Salt water flush worked!
I found I had organic juicables growing in my very own garden!
Comments on my blog!

Today's low point: Putting too much stress on myself this morning, expecting to be racing about 100% this early in the fast.
