...I've always had a sense that it's ok to use apple with veges, but then I read the purists views not to mix fruit with veges and I get confused.
I agree that it's so important to have things palatable. It's so important not to feel too deprived...or you set yourself up for failure.
Lemon with my veges is a great idea too...especially with spinach I think it would improve the taste greatly! I'll try lemon, then maybe some more green apple. LOVE those apples!
