“Nothing in the world is ever completely wrong. Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.”
― Paulo Coelho, Brida
My night was fitful, and I tossed and turned a lot. I think it was because of what I ate an hour or so before bed. I should know better than to put something heavy on my stomach after I haven't eaten anything in a couple days. It was so horrible, if made me feel like I wanted to throw up. I guess I just have just went with the no appetite, instead of trying to eat something when I really didn't feel like it. My stomach was growling in the morning, but still I wasn't every hungry. And what did I do? Try another quarter of the other sub for breakfast, that I got! Now I have an upset stomach that feels like there is a brick sitting there. Ugh! How stupid can I be? Well, just not thinking correctly as depression does that to me a bit.
I have been thinking about God a bit. Wondering how I might be able to re-connect with what I once had. I have done a quick look (which was really easy) to see that I haven't read my Bible one this month, so far. So that goal: Reading my Bible in a year is not working as I wanted it to. The focal point right now is how I can start reading it at all.
I found online that by starting with these books in the Bible, might jump start my bible reading, rather then just trying to start from the beginning. I guess reading the Bible some where in the middle is better than not reading it at all. I will have to try this. Maybe that is my problem. I don't like the very beginning of the Bible (Maybe not exciting enough for me).
John ... to learn about Jesus
Acts ... to learn about the Church
James ... essential wisdom for daily living
Ecclesiastes ... an expose of the arrogant and ignorant expectations we fall victim to
Proverbs ... practical quotes, sayings and images for the here and now
I have also been wondering on what other exercises I can do other than jumping jacks, as when it was getting colder, it was hurting my knees a little bit. So I need to find an exercise that isn't so high impact at the moment. I don't know if my knees started to hurt because it was colder out, or it was too much on my knees. I guess since it is getting warmer out (Today is is 23 degrees out and Saturday it should be in the 40s) I will have to see if that is the case. I found a couple really nice exercises that will whittle my waistline. It is called lose your love handles. (I don't have huge ones, but it would be lovely to be more toned) It has 3 Cardio toner exercises and 3 targeted toner exercises. These don't look very high impact, so I might try doing a couple of these in the morning in order to get into exercising in the morning (once again!)

WEEKLY GOAL FOR JANUARY 26th – FEBRUARY 1st, 2014
WORK ON BUDGET: I have updated my Budget, and things are very tight right now. Buying the subs, cut me close. I can't do that again.
WRITE IN JOURNAL 7 TIMES: I haven't wrote in this almost all week. I have to start with this morning habit again, before I get too far behind on this goal.
FINISH A BOOK: I am close but not quite. I should be done by sometimes on Saturday at the latest. Maybe with both of the books I am reading.
WRITE 1,000 WORDS ON MY NOVEL: I was able to write about 100 words. I will try to finish up with the other 870 words tomorrow for sure, because I will not want to write that much on the weekend. I am not that dedicated yet. LOL
CROCHET 5 TIMES: Nope, I haven't started on this yet. But the urge is there and getting a little bit stronger. Maybe by Saturday, I will have started on something.
READ BIBLE 7 TIMES: No. I haven't opened up my Bible yet, but I am trying to encourage myself in order to read it.
SAVE $10.00 IN SAVINGS: I have Budgeted for the $10.00 to come out next week on February 7th, as I will not have it this week unfortunately.
CREATE A PIECE OF ARTWORK: I haven't started on this, but I am going to try to make a couple cards tonight for some people whose birthdays are coming up in February, March and April.
WRITE ROUGHT DRAFT OF BICKLE STORY: I have a very simple rough draft, which is mostly ideas, but nothing written down quite yet, other than notes. I did find out that most easy reader books for children from ages 6 to 9 can be 500 words to 1,000 words, but most publishers like 1,000 to 1,500 words. So that is what I am going to strive for in written form. I am doing to do my basic 10 scene card, and fill in what I want and go from there in more of a solid written form.
WATER FASTING: I didn't go forward with the water fast, as I did eat something yesterday, but that was only before I made myself eat something, not because I really wanted to. I guess I might start a new water fast either on February 2nd or February 3rd. I think I might just try to fast for week, and see if I can get farther than that. I really don't know what I am doing the following weekend. I haven't seen D. since January 4th, but the weather has been too horrible for me to go up and the last 2 weeks, money has been too tight for me to go up as well.
