I was up earlier then I normally would be since we had a frozen ice storm, so I knew that my car would be covered with ice. I got up around 7:05 a.m and did my normal routines: Wash my face, brush my teeth, do my hair (simple brushing it and pinning it up) get dressed, and make my bed. I layered today, as I have been since my last water fast. I feel much warmer when I do layer. I wore a tank top, a thin cotton long sleeved shirt, and a bulking sweater. I wore my long knee stocks with my leg warmers, underneath my pants. I find that my legs don't get cold any longer. LOL.
I put my coat and gloves on, and went out to my car. But not until I grabbed my plastic spatula and my metal one as well. I knew that if I went out outside that my handle to my screen door was probably covered as well, so I hit it a couple times with the plastic spatula to free it. Did I leave my car unlocked? No. Did I remember to leave my ice scraper in the house? No. So wielding a plastic spatula, I battled the ice on my car. I attacked the passenger side first, as it looked like it had less ice on it then the driver's side. I was able to get my key in the lock and open it. I struggled a bit to get the door open, but after I chipped some of the ice away, it was much easier. I think I started my car around 7:45 a.m., while I chipped, hacked and pummeled the ice off my car. In some areas, it looked that the ice was about an inch or more thick! I actually felt very good about doing this, as I was very awake and active this morning. It must have been a bit of exercise that I did last night. I got to work around 8:45 a.m. and I was the only person in the office until around 10:30, which really reeked since they(only two attorneys cam in and the other one, and the other secretary didn't come in at all) only stayed at the office until around 2:00 p.m. and I was alone for the rest of the day. It wasn't too busy at all. If anything I was bored.
I did a little bit of research on aspartame and I had forgotten that I had read about it a long while ago. It is kind of scary that with all the side affects that they still allow it to be used in food. I guess I did a good thing about not buying that jello the other days which had aspartame in it. I know that when I pulled out my Stride, and I checked what kind of sugar substitute they used, I found ASPARTAME! It also says it contains Phenylalanine, which I will have to check into what that is, since I do not know. Wow. I know that I have been checking any juices I have been buying like apple juice ( I love Mott's Apple juice as it is very natural) and anything that might have some type of sugar substitute in it. I guess low sugar and sugar free items such as that jello I looked at on Saturday are prime items that have aspartame in them.
Well, some of the side affects are: (It is scary!)

These are not allergies or sensitivities, but diseases and disease syndromes. Aspartame poisoning is commonly misdiagnosed because aspartame symptoms mock textbook ‘disease’ symptoms, such as Grave’s Disease.
I have been wondering if my mother watched and cut out aspartame out of her diet and her life, if her migraines would decease, as she has them very frequently. She has them about often as two or three times a week.
I am kind of wondering what it will be like in the next couple days since we are suppose to be getting another storm which will continue until sometime on Wednesday. The attorney called me to tell me to go home early, but it was only an hour, so I just took my time, and listen to my favorite Christian radio show “Adventures in Odyssey” which runs from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30. So after it went off, I got ready to leave work for the day. I really hate missing it as it is something I wait all day to hear. I know, I am silly. LOL
When I got home, it was kind of a quiet affair, as there wasn't much to do. I played a movie (same one – Indiana Jones and the Crystal skull as I love the movie and I always find something new I didn't see before in it.), which I did some dishes, cleaned up a kitchen a bit, cleaned out my fridge and warmed up my bean stew, since I didn't feel like cooking much. Plus I didn't defrost any fish in order to cook. My fresh veggies are running out, (I have enough to get by until Saturday, if I calculated it right) as money is tight, since my lot rent is due this week, so I will only have about $35.00 to play with for gas and food extras. I won't need food extras, as I have enough to eat (frozen veggies) to get me by for a week. Anyway, I am planning on making some more beans this week some time. Phil owe me $40.00, but I pulled that out of my savings so it isn't really for me to spend when I get it back. It really goes back into my savings account where it came from. If I am lucky I will get it sometime this week, but it isn't like I really need it. I am not actually hurting in need of anything at the moment. I am blessed.
After dinner, I plugged my MP3 player in and turned on my Wii. I seems that if I put my MP3 player on, I tend to play the video game longer and I get more of a workout if I do so. I found myself boxing, sword fighting, playing baseball, bowling and playing a little bit of golf and I was having a great time. I didn't even realized that I played it for a hour and 26 minutes! I really got a workout, as when I was boxing and sword fighting, my heart rate went up, as I was bouncing around, especially with the boxing. LOL. I guess that is a good thing. I was so thirsty afterwards, that I drank almost 16 ounces right afterwards.
I ended up settling down, by taking a long shower, and getting ready for bed. I tried to read a little bit, but I felt a bit worn out, and just ended up listening to the TV play until I feel asleep. Mekong was looming over me and snuggling my cheek every now and again, as she laid on my bed. Lammy was curled up on a nearby pillow, so I felt very loved by my pets. I am very blessed to have two very affectionate cats that love me as much as I love them.
