January 31, 2011

I had a good night even though I woke up several times during the night. My morning was pretty normal as it usually is, but it was much nicer to flush the toilet and run the water a bit more then I was able to the last week or so. I am very happy about that.

My day at the office was okay as I kept myself very busy that the day went very quickly. I tried to remember to balance myself on my chair a bit so I could strengthen my abdominal muscles, but at times it wasn't always easy to remember to do that. I am thinking about looking up some chair exercises that I might do when I am bored and sitting at my desk at work and they probably could work at home as well. LOL

When I got home, I was greeted by my lovely kitties that were waiting for me to come home. Since we were suppose to be getting a huge ice/snow storm, I didn't go anywhere after work. I had plenty of food and things to do, so I did the typical thing I normally do in the evening: I popped in a movie, while I put my washed dishes away, prepared my dinner and washed up my lunch containers.

I used the rest of the first box of mushrooms to make stuffed mushrooms with a mixture of mushroom stems, cut up spinach and 2 spoonfuls Jarlsberg cheese dip. I put those in the oven the same time I put my Salmon and veggies. So I knew that I would be eating them first in an almost appetizer type of before my main meal. I wasn't feeling really starving hungry, like sometimes I feel if I have went too long without getting a little bit of something to eat. Usually in the morning, I am really feeling hungry that my stomach starts to growl if I don't get something to eat soon. One reason why I never skip my breakfast. LOL

I watched “Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull” while my dinner was cooking. I worked on my lavender cowl for a bit, until Lammy was sitting with me, smacking the yarn as it comes moving around. She can be such a funny and playful kitty, even though she is will be 8 years old this year.

My dinner was a very simple and delicious and I enjoyed watching a movie while I ate slowly. I know that I have been eating solid food for about 11 days now, but it seems that eating veggies and fish never gets old, as it always tastes so good. I have noticed that I have been able to keep my current weight steady as well, which is great as well. It seems that I lost about 5 pounds, as my past weight was 134 and now my current weight is 129. I have also noticed that my fat around my belly is getting squishier and softer, it is no longer as hard as it was before. I think it is starting to feel more like very lumpy cottage cheese rather then a just a very hard lump. I can see the a part of it seems to almost look like cellulite as well, which probably means that the fat is slowly burning off over time. I am really hoping that another water fast or maybe another two water fasts will help dwindle that fat away. I am determined to get rid of it and make sure that it never comes back.

I had a very peaceful night, even though my thoughts were on Phil for a while. He texted me during the day complaining that his gas was out and he didn't know what to do. I told him I couldn't help him anymore as I didn't have the money, as I gave it the extra I had. He said he knew and he wasn't asking for help from me. I guess he just wanted a sounding board to talk to. I guess I don't always know how to deal with him, since he never really talks to me unless he is complaining about running out of something or needing something. He should know by know that he can depend on me to support him, as I have done so for so long. I guess maybe that is the problem to begin with: I am always there for him. I really just know know what he wants from me. His W2 came from the Census center, and I told him that it was here. He came and picked it up and that was it. My mother feels that since I supported him and his son in the last year, that I should have been able to claim both of them on my taxes, since I was supporting them while they were living with me. Of course, I would never get to, since Phil is claiming his son and is hoping that his EX wife won't be claiming his income taxes due to his back child support on his other son. Oh well, it isn't my problem anymore.

I got a little bit active during the evening by playing my Wii for 36 minutes, and doing some dancing, as I was playing my MP3 player through my stereo. I even did 10 minutes of abdominal crunches before I get ready for bed. It was a bit cold in my living room, and I was wanting to relax a bit and read, so I got in bed earlier then normal, which was about 8:30 p.m. I think I will start playing my Wii around a hour before bedtime, so that I raise my metabolism before bedtime so that it might do more fat burning while I am sleeping. I will just have to see if that is a good thing to do and if it will pay off.

I put on my one piece pajama suit with has a zipper. It is like a huge onesie so it is very warm, which I wore a tank top and a pair of pajama shorts before stepping into it. I don't wear it very often as it is a hassle to get out of it to go to the bathroom when I have to pee. LOL But it is kind of fun to wear, as it has Tigger on it which is comical to me, as I love Tigger. I curled up under my blankets while I tried to watch a different movie on my bedroom TV, but I didn't seem very interested. I was hoping to read a little bit, but I just ended up laying there, nice and warm and thank God for all the wonderful things that He has blessed me with. I didn't talk to Him long, as I was just very tired for some reason. Maybe it was the weather. I was all snuggled up and cosy, when Mekong jump up on my bed and snuggled with my face, and that was all I remembered, as I must have fallen asleep soon after that.
