Day Twenty-Two
Phase two: Day one
Date: 6/17/2010 1:27:59 PM ( 14 y ) ... viewed 1557 times Today is the big day. Back into the eating world I go!
Funny thing, forgot to weigh in like I wanted to. Oh well, guess I keep it at every five days so I don't get obsessed with my numbers.
So, at 7:30 I made the MOST WONDERFUL juice to have every been made in the history of mankind. It was 12 oz of pure heaven, and consisted of tomato, lemon, cukes and kale. I have an inexpensive "Jack LaLanne" type juicer, which will suffice for the job...
Then, surprise, surprise, 30 minutes later the colon gods blessed me with a little gift. Amazing...
At 8:30, all my resolve and planning and preaching went by the wayside and I ate about a cup and a half of raw tomatoes and cucumbers. But I did chew each one until it was like water in my mouth before swallowing.
Got out my beloved Dandelion Root Tea, the one which kicks up so much hydrochloric acid in my stomach, and enjoying it thoroughly!! Go boy, do your stuff!!
At 11:00 I made another 12 oz of juice with carrot, lemon, tomato, and kale. Ambrosia!!
At 1:00, I went over the edge and no one who is a serious faster should respect me anymore... I steamed up some broccoli for lunch, added some chopped raw tomatoes, a couple of dribbles of olive oil and some sea salt. Delicious. Hope I don't wind up in the ER.
Last for today...
One of the worst/best results of this fast is that my favorite slacks must now go into the tag sale pile. I put them on this morning and there is a three inch wide gap between its waist and my waist! It fell so far down my hips that the pant legs drag along the ground when I walk. Three weeks ago, they were my best fitting pair of pants. Incredible!
Well, such is life, and such is this journey. Thanks for coming along with me...
Be Blessed!
More later...
