I believe every single person on here has ORS.Let me make this clear that does not mean they dont have odors , far from it, it just means they cant rationalize getting better.Its a sad fact you can cure your odor and many already have but because they suffered from ORS they will never know.By the way one of the worst things about ORS is the exageration of the perception of ones smell.That is the classic sign of ORS.
One guy on another site talked about driving in his car with the window down and people giving him dirty looks,How crazy is that.We all know thats impossible but we have to remember that is what he really thinks, so no matter what we say you would not be able to convince him otherwise and therfore he would never be cured until he decides to getting help for ORS.Once again im not saying this person does not have bb its just he doesnt realize the severity or lack there of of his problem.Im only using this as an example to get my point across.
Let me see if I can explain this a little better.People with OCD do some crazy things like count numbers or they cant walk on cracks or they have to lock the doors 5 times, you get the picture, we on the outside think they are crazy and cant understand why they do that.With ORS its the same thing people looking at us think were crazy to, I say were because I suffered from ORS still do to a degree maybe one episode a month and getting less.
Why do you think when all these people meet up they cant smell each other, cmon its not because there not stressed because getting there would be stressful enough.That is also why I dont agree with meet ups because in reinforces their perception that they do have odors because they all have the same stories, but really the same story is they all have ORS and that should be the discussion not odors.Please lets me tell you Im not talking about people with tmau, I feel sorry for those people that have confirmed cases of tmau my heart goes out to them
