Quercetin May Be Linked to a Reduced Risk of Colorectal Cancer
Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or large bowel cancer or rectal cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. With 655,000 deaths worldwide per year, it is the third most common form of cancer and the second leading cause of cancer-related death in the Western world. In the United States, it is the fourth most common cancer in men and women. Caught early, it is often curable. It is more common in people over 50, and the risk increases wi ...

She is wrong. First of all the reason the cancer keeps coming back, as with most cancers, is that they are not addressing the base cause of the cancer. Most cancers, including skin cancer, are caused from viruses. In the case of skin cancer the trigger is human papilloma virus (HPV), which is also linked to cervical, breast, prostate and nasopharyngeal cancers. Sunlight itself DOES NOT cause cancer. Its role is in the fact that the sunlight triggers the HPV virus. Since conventional treatments fail to take care of the virus that causes the cancer, the vi ...

Soy Intake May Modify Risk of Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is a cancer that forms in tissues of the breast, usually the ducts (tubes that carry milk to the nipple) and lobules (glands that make milk). It occurs in both men and women, although male breast cancer is rare. There are different types of breast cancer, with different stages (spread), aggressiveness and genetic makeup. Treatment includes surgery, drugs (hormone therapy and chemotherapy) and radiation. The incidence of breast cancer has been increasing steadily for decades. To ...

Finally he claims that the consumption of cancer cells results in an inflammatory response, which is not true.
I read that some alternative treatments -- the ones that kill cancer cells -- cause a temporary inflammation of the tumor, which happens when the immune system’s NK cells attack the cancer cells. This inflammation even if temporary is very dangerous for patients with lung cancer, brain cancer, any cancer of the digestive tract, cancer of the bile duct and a few other situations where there is a life-threatening blockage (e.g. the tumor is pres ...

Small-cell lung cancer is particularly difficult to treat because the cancer spreads rapidly throughout the body, rather than forming large tumors that can be removed surgically. To treat this cancer, doctors typically turn to chemotherapy, which att ...

Possibly. The link between inflammation and cancer is still not clear. Just like how it is not clear if estrogens cause or promote cancer. We know that most cancers are triggered by microbes, particularly viruses. So are estrogens and inflammation also causes of cancer or do they simply promote the growth of already existing cancers such as those triggered by microbes?

And simply removing the primary tumor allows metastasized tumors to start growing.
