She is wrong.  First of all the reason the cancer keeps coming back, as with most cancers, is that they are not addressing the base cause of the cancer.  Most cancers, including skin cancer, are caused from viruses.  In the case of skin cancer the trigger is human papilloma virus (HPV), which is also linked to cervical, breast, prostate and nasopharyngeal cancers.  Sunlight itself DOES NOT cause cancer.  Its role is in the fact that the sunlight triggers the HPV virus.  Since conventional treatments fail to take care of the virus that causes the cancer, the virus remains to keep popping up new cancers.

Therefore the way to cure skin cancer is to first destroy the virus.  Ozone therapy is the most effective means of doing this.  In addition ozone also kills cancer cells directly and boosts the immune system through the formation of peroxides and cytokines.

There are also the antiviral herbs like chaparral, pau d' arco and andrographis.  These also boost the immune system and chaparral is also effective in suppressing cancer growth due to its being a mitosis inhibitor.

Skin cancer can also be addressed directly with caustic latexes such as those from the euphorbias, or better yet with undiluted food grade (35%) peroxide.  In fact our natural killer (NK) cells destroy cancer cells they can identify with the peroxides they form.  Ozone also kills cancer cells directly through the formation of hydrogen peroxide and lipid peroxides it forms through reaction with water and cell membrane lipids.  Healthy cells are not affected though since unlike cancer cells healthy cells contain antioxidant enzymes that break the peroxides down.  Interestingly ozone therapy increases the production of these enzymes within cells creating its own safety for healthy cells.
