Viral-cancers

I've been looking through RRR posts. I read your viral/cancer posts with interest. I don't understand how cancers like lung cancer/throat cancer can be viral. Everyone i know who had throat cancer, and i knew a few, were heavy smokers.

Also cancers like Breast Cancer do seem to run in families. You get families where the mother, and daughters get it. Are you saying the virus may run in the famliy?
