Hello there, The ambiguity in the Word is intentional. It is God’s way of keeping the unworthy out. He wants us to work for our manna. Sound familiar??? Just as the word used in the account was ”offering” and later revealed that it was in fact a sacrifice, the curse of the ground, in that sentence structure is later revealed at the time of the flood, when the curse of the ground was lifted. The curse was placed on Adam for taking what did not belong to him. The tree of knowledge was forbidden territory. Therefore God expanded those borders a bit, to include the garden in it’s entirity. ...
