Milk thistle is more of a protectant and regenerative. Hi Gadgie. Sorry to hear you have a polyp. I would imagine your doc. is right when he says it is harmless and nothing to be concerned about. HOwever its probably a clear sign that your liver is clogged! I have read about gallbladder polyps on the liver flush forum - some people after having flushed found their polyps had gone (not that I am saying you should liver flush just trying to point out the connection with a clogged liver). Sludge and mucus are different. Mucus is caused by a bacterial infection in the biliary duscts and the waste products of the bacteria are thick viscous phlegm. Can be white/yellow/green in colour. My wife went in today for a sonogram as we were sure she’s been having gallstone attacks the last 2 months. Gallbladder polyps are harmless but colon polyps should be removed asap. From my understanding there´s no need for surgery as you can have them removed by a colonoscopy. I myself had a polyp, quite big in fact and the colonoscopy took it out. It is a painless procedure and many polyps can be removed at one go. Most polyps seems to be benign but if we wait too long they may turn into bad guys. Ask for your physician about colonoscopy. Good luck Fernando   [End]

I did a quick search and found the info below. Flushing causes a violent contraction of the gallbladder to dump as much bile as possible to digest the large quantity of olive oil ingested during a flush. I have recently been diagnosed with gb polyps. Of course md wants to remove my gb, but he says that as long as I can stand the sysmptoms, then I am safe to keep my gb. However, I have noticed that the only time I have symptoms (pain throughout abdomen, even mild pain in my back) are the nights after I drink a few (six) beers, thus I am concerned that perhaps my symptoms are actually being caused by something else. Hi! I’ve had a gallbladder polyp for several years along with periodic cramping in that area. Docs ultrasound the gallbladder occasionally to see if the polyp has changed. This time, the ultrasound tech was very good in describing everything on the screen. While the polyp hasn’t grown much, I did find out that it has bloodflow. So, it’s a polyp that is actually grown out of the gallbladder and not a cholesterol ”chunk” embedded in the wall. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this?   [End]

After herbs, change of diet to alkaline and 3 liver flushes. I had my next Ultrasound. The first US the report said ”Multiple Gallbladder polyps, 4.2mm” (layman terms). The second now basically says ”8 Gallbladder polyps max size 3mm”. Does this mean that after everything I’ve done, I’ve achieved a reduction of 1.2mm? Hi, I think I have an idea of the pain, etc you have been experiencing. I was diagnosed with multiple polyps almost a year ago. My specialist has given me some leeway and I’ve since tried many things. The only thing that actually helped a fair bit with reducing the pain was a herbal liver tonic a herbalist prepared for me. Ones on the market work a little but not to the same extent. I’ve also tried my third liver flush, In fact only just done my third last night.
