Re: Is Pickling Lime Really A Good Source Of Calcium?

You will not get undesired side effects if you do not do too much, too fast and balance it all with other needed minerals.

As I stated earlier in another forum, supplementing is a tricky, individual thing... Parazapper's method sounds well diluted and extremely safe. While the method may not be a significant source of his daily minerals, it most certainly has the desired effect of buffering acid and is all quite bioavailable to the body. That he uses it based on need is something everyone should take heed of. Need varies, sometimes greatly from one individual to the next.

One of the BIG reasons we are suffering in todays world is mineral void bottled and distilled waters; good, clean, fresh, water out of a running stream is valuable not so much for the "mineral" content, but for the buffering action the water had on the body's acids... that said, water treated with fluoride, chlorine and aluminum is not desired either; I think we all agree on that... oh, for a pristine source of fresh running water... yummy.
