Sorry you had to wade through the thread. I understand your concern because I have been frustrated when I've encountered the same thing on other forums. I don't like hijacked threads, either.

I also understand why the above poster made that post -- it was in response to something that I had said to the poster and they wanted to make a larger point about colonization of parasites. I'm pretty certain that they had no intentions of hijacking the thread. One can never know how a conversation will transpire and it took off from there.

We have a moderator and I'll see if they can fix the thread. Perhaps they can break it off and move it. This forum is relatively new and so is our moderator so please be patient.
