Fasting is good for your body and gives your body a rest. It puts your body in a healing and restoration mode where the enzymes and digestive energies that are normally used for breaking down foods are used for cellular detoxification and healing.. it works.. trust me- I water fasted for 40 days and my health now is signifigantly better than it was before I fasted. Even though I did not follow up the fast correctly with probiotics and my candida did in fact return- my candida when it returned was a tenth as bad as it was before the fast.. And now that I have been fighting the candida correctly- it is basically gone and within the next few months I hope to start repairing my leaky gut and then finally HEALTH. Its a long road but totally worth it.
