Re: Fasting and Candida; the way to fly
Dear Jhan,
I fully support Ketchup's ideas on fasting. Jhan failed to appreciate that Ketchup is not against fasting, he is only against prolonged fasting. My experience also tells that fasting for "small to moderate" period is good, but fasting like "starving to death" is not a good idea. "Small to moderate" is a relative measure which may depend upon the health condition of a person. While we are fasting, we are starving both candida and our body. There can be damages done to the body in extreme fasting conditions, for example, whereas candida may just go into dormant mode where it just sits there without thriving waiting for good conditions to come back when it will start growing again.
Small to moderate period fasting rejuvenates the various organs of body - liver, kidney, spleen, lymph system, which in turn helps fight Candida in general. Fasting with nutritious juices, esp. the ones are good for human body but not good for candida, can be the best way to fast.
So I believe we need to deliberate little deeper before believing long-term fasting is good or bad. A simple survey can find the answer:
Question: How many people got *completely and permanently* cured of their problems with long-term fasting?
What I have shared above is my view point, though I could be wrong.
