Re: parkinson's disease - part 2
Hi Sunny,
thanks for your sympathy. The loss of the smile and laughter is part of
the syndrome, sadly. You're lucky your hubby is open to alternatives.
Mine just wanted to go the allopathic route. He had major problems in
the past when he tried to go the alternative route years ago when he
had ulcerative colitis, and lost valuable time and it actually did
him damage, he said (it was a chiropractor, and it was in the '70s,
before there was the more recent proliferation of all manner of
alternative modalities and practitioners). So given his history I can
kind of understand where he is coming from. I would have tried something
natural before I resorted to pharmaceuticals, which I abhor, but I am
not him. I too have looked at the
Parkinson's forum here on CZ but it is pretty dead. There are no
coincidences--you came to the right place! :-) Be prepared for the
ride of your life if you do get into
Iodine supplementation--but in
a good way. I will email you at the address you posted and that way
we can communicate. Feel free to ask whatever.
