I tend to agree with you. I used to take evening primrose oil, an omega 6 oil, for about a year to supposedly help with pms, depression. It didn't help and it made my hair and skin so oily that when I tried to shampoo my hair, it wouldn't even lather. I stopped taking it and took tetracycline and some Antibiotic skin product from a dermatologist to help get the grease out of my skin when I was in my early twenties. I now just take omega 3 and have taken up to 3000 mg a day, and it hasn't caused Acne breakouts.
