YES, it was caused by too much omega 3 in your diet most probably. The correct ratio of omega 3 to 6 is about 1:2 NOT 2:1. That can cause horrible breakouts, it did for me and I've heard other people say the same. I've experienced it twice and pinpointed excess omega 3 as the source. And the breakout I had was unlike anything I've ever seen. As soon as I discontinued omega 3 supplements they stopped.
