This gets at the stake of what is necessary to convey information among the humans.

I provided some writings on the benefits of Iodine on CZ , a substantial time prior to the point where one with decision-making authority took it upon themselves to create an Iodine discussion forum. The earlier communications were ineffective.

If I say that substance "X" will cure your "Y", someone may read it and think it just another moronic far-out writing, if the concept is foreign to their "school" - trained mind. However, when another "moron" chimes in and says "that's a good idea", then a third person may entertain the thought that there is merit to the original proposition, because humans respond well to the pack-mentality, by habit. When further anonymous first-time visitors review the results of the others' quibblings, they too may join in, and so on, and so on..... until such a forum passes the tipping point and garners un-stopppable momentum.

This is the stuff of which Revolutions are made.

There are counter-revolutionary measures as well.

In the case you described, you are a lone wolf. If the recipient you provided the information to had been exposed to a pack of wolves with the same opinion that you espoused, the results may have been different.
