Re: candida diagnosis and die-off questions

Hi,

Thanks for writing...i think it's essential to relate stories of experience which could account for our health concerns :-)

As a child i was raised in a violent, drug-ridden,alcohol dependent household (mother)...because of her dependencies on drugs and abusive partners my borther an i fended for ourselves regarding diet. That consisted of mainly consuming junk food for at least most of the first 8 years of life. I was then put into foster care and received 3 square meals a day...mostly meat based which i rejected, never liking the tase/texture. I always have had a sweet-tooth. But these past 3 years that has really waned alot. I like the natural sweetness of fruits rather than eat chocolate bars and candy.

When i was 14 i began having severe pains in my lower stomach/groin region...i would be doubled up crying with the pain. This was accompanied by sever bloating. Doctors made me worse with drugs. I gave up finding a cure at that age. A woman gave me a crystal and the pains in the lower stomach vanished. Weird but true!!

Emotionally i really recoil at conflict. Arguments make me feel physically weak, i tense up internally. Even when i hear of harrowing news i tense up. I'm so overly sensitised to fragile emotions, of myself and others.

Interestingly, my brother does not struggle with stomach complaints of any kind. He did suffer with severe Acne like me...and now he is adult, like me sufers with it abit. I wondered if this dual affliction was caused by our childhood lifestyle rather than diet. He is a big meat-eater, not much into juicing etc....i am the opposite yet we still suffer with adult acne. I really do think alot of this is emotional.

My biggest instinct tells me to find a balance. A balance of emotional health combined with good physical health and diet. It is such an individual journey. I find that tweaking my diet helps. One regime will work for a while and give me a boost, but it doesn't last forever. I'm discovering that what i eat and what i'm feeling are intrinsically connected. That's why my diet needs adjusting from time to time.

Have you done any cleansing yet? Bowel and parasite cleanses are a really beneficial place to start. There is an abundance of information right here on this site. I'm going to be doing a liver cleanse. It sounds so beneficial. I will keep posting here how that goes and how it affects me.

What is your diet like now? Have you tried any juice fasts?

I agree we can all help each other heal. Feeling sick and not knowing why is so alieneating. All of us here are on a journey to abundance of vibrant health - i believe so strongly that this site is a really good place to start :-)

Hope to hear from you soon...warm wishes

Bec :-)
