Re: about fruit + yogurt recipe
I've been taking probiotics for a couple of weeks now and i'm finding that my bowel movements have increased rather dramatically! From small once every other day movement, to 2 major movements per day! It's such a relief....even for the backache.
The antifungals i have at the moment are Pau D'arco and i have some tinctures in the fridge which i haven't begun yet. I wanted to start slowly. In actual fact i cannot remember which tinctures i ended up buying for the candida...i'll repost that information if you could give me any idea if they are worthwhile antifungals to take or whether i should try something different (is a bad memory a symptom of candida?!)
Being vegan it is hard to find vegan yoghurt. I tried making some from a recipe i have, using soy milk....heated up to just below boiling and then adding 2 capsules of probiotics (5 billion each capsule)...i left it in my airing cupboard which is warm and after 15 hours it was slightly thick at the bottom but still liquid mostly. I dont know if i should've added more capsules or whether the heat killed off the culture...or if i should've left it longer to culture itself. I need to experiement on that one.
Once i have the recipe right i wil add cocoa powder...that's a great idea - thanks! I used to eat yogurt as if it was going out of fashion...but like you said it isn't cutured enough....i didn't get the benefit from yogurt like i do probiotics.
I love grapefruit and apples...i don't really find that symptoms are aggravated by anything i particularly eat. It is always after i have eaten i get bloated.
Is it correct that i should eat fruit completely seperately from other foods. To avoid fermentation? I do this most of the time...and wondered if that regime was correct.
Many thanks for all your precious tidbits of advice :-)
