Re: Diary Products: The $160,000,000 Question.
Dear Eric,
Your article was very informative. But... I do not quite agree with you. I am originally from Russia and I am 54 years old now and I and my brothers and cousins were raised on raw cow milk and milk products (my grandmother had a cow): milk, cottage cheese, sour cream, sour milk, etc. And we all were very healthy and well. None of us had had any alergies, asthma, skeen or joint problems, our digestive system was well too, none of us was overweight! Twenty five years later I had my children, and we lived in a big city and used, of course, milk from the supper market, and my children were sick very often with cold and flu, they have different kind of alergies: on food, medication, even cold and sun, my elder son had asthma till he was 12. So... I beleive that it is not good milk and milk products. Honestly, I am terrified sometimes when I read a label on milk and milk products: as if I am reading a book on chemistry!!! I personally do not drink or use this milk ever.
I am a proud Americal citizen, I have been in the US for 15 years and I think it is the best country in the whole world. I still drink milk, but RAW milk that I get from the farm near my home in Pennsylvania. And it is great! I mean milk. I think that we all have to do something so our children, and grandchildren and other generations of American citizens have safe milk and milk products, not "chemistry" in a bottle.
Here are some links to articles of MDs, who are in favor of RAW, REAL MILK and milk products:

and I agree with them.
I hope I did not offend you by not agreeing with you on milk issue.
Sincerely, Polina.
