Gee, I don't know. You'd have to convince me, first. I do think organic free range eggs are a good idea, personally. When you say dairy, do you mean raw dairy? Fermented? Because you didn't mention it so I assume you mean conventional dairy. If I were you, I wouldn't touch dairy, though! From what I've read, that's one of the worst for diabetes and cholesterol. Especially if it is pasteurized homogenized. Meat, I could go either way on, depending on what program you are following.
So, I would EITHER become a vegan (for a while at least). OR eggs only vegetarian. OR not a vegetarian, but avoid dairy.

Either way, I would eat loads of raw food and avoid VEGETABLE OILS such as soy, canola, corn, peanut, safflower, cottonseed like the plague! Olive oil is a fruit oil so it is okay. Also large amounts of any sort of sugar, and flours. They are the #1 and #2 contributers to heart disease and diabetes! Meat is the scapegoat the conventional medical society uses to blame for poor health. Don't get me wrong, I know this is a vegetarian forum, and it DOES have its problems but it is not the culprit that people think for these health problems. It is vegetable oils, refined carbs, high sugar, and conventional dairy.

There is lots of reading on curezone, obviously, and recommended reading for the harmful oils can be found at http://www.westonaprice.org and choose "Know Your Fats" on the left menu bar.

Also, http://www.notmilk.com has info about dairy and its relation to heart disease, diabetes, and other diseases. However, in my mind, that applies to conventional hormones and Antibiotics pasteurized dairy, but not healthy cows and raw milk. I wouldn't give up organic butter! It is just info to consider.
