Forgive me if I came across that way. It didn't make me angry. In fact Furhman says that the last 10-20 pounds are often dealt with best with a fast. So, I wasn't addressing you. It's the 30-40 day fasting crowd. The rule of thumb is a pound a day after regaining bowel matter. So for 20 pounds, it might be best to do 7-10 days, then eat correctly, fast one day a week, and then a month later do another 7-10 if necessary.
Best to you, Mike.
P.S. I obviously don't own this board or have anymore say or right to post or express my opinions than anyone else. It's just that we've been trying to warn people that the consequences and benefits of fasting are more complex than attempting to just drink water for 30-40 days.
