It was not right of him to go on a date with bad breath, but it must have been hard to tell him about his bad breath,...or was it? If it wasn't, I don't blame him for getting mad and not contacting you. A lot of foreign people, namely Africans, do not grow up knowing hygiene as we do in America. If a person grows up in the African Desert, they almost never use whatever water they can find for hygiene, they use it for survival and watering any crops that will grow. People in many countries have a hard time getting enough water for their daily needs, and usually do not have the luxury of the same level of hygiene that we do. Sometimes, being a little more compassionate and understanding will help to explain what needs to be said. Almost by definition, blind dates are not a match made in heaven, so, expect something similar from all blind dates. Tweet
