The
Bentonite pulls a lot of toxins including possibly heavy metals if present. Toxins can be heavy metals, plastic residues, binders/fillers,
preservatives , decaying material, parasites, odd things swallowed as a child (pennies, soda tabs, etc), and much more.
Finding the precise timings that work for you for spacing of the shakes is going to be unique to you. As long as your getting your body weight, divided by two, in
ounces per day of water you should be okay. However, the PB shake should always be "chased" by a large glass of water - and I can see how that would be particularly important in the evenings before bed. So, trade your nightcap for a big glass of water and you should be good to go.
Warm water helps stimulate peristaltic movement and is helpful in the morning to wake the bowels up and get a strong elimination. Try drinking some before your first P&B shake each morning if you have difficulty in the mornings. (Some people may need the "weight" of the P&B shake into their stomach though to really stimulate the bowels to move. The bowels naturally seek to move about 30min after eating or "P&B"'ing)
Remember - you dont want to put your shakes at your mealtimes, as the meals can bind up with the shake material. That decreases the benefits of both the shake and the food. An hour spacing either way is good - although if it was a protein meal, I'd wait 2-3hrs after eating to take the shake due to the digestion time necessary.
