Re: How can you enjoy paradise knowing others are suffering?

"but you're wasting your time with me."

2Co 12:15 And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.

"The bible is not the ulimate word of God"

Only The Holy Spirit can guide you into "all Truth", but I, as a believer have the power of prayer.

Joh 16:13 "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

Joh 15:26 "When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me,

Joh 8:31 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine;
Joh 8:32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."

Joh 8:31 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine;
Joh 8:32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."

"It was very hard and extremely scary to give up a life of fear"

Fear is not from God :
1Jo 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.

He would have us embrace: righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Rom 14:17

"So either Jesus is not God, or God isn't the same 'yesterday, today, and forever'...or the bible isn't completely the word of god...or the god of the old testament wasn't Jesus 'father'."

Under Law: Do or Die, Under Grace: Believe and Live.
God has not changed, though the way He deals with man has, it's really not so hard to understand. I love my wife and my children but I do not treat every circumstance with the same results. My motivation is love, wither it be discipline or grace, my love does not change, though my admistration of that love will vary accordingly.

"I've walked more than a mile in your footsteps with your beliefs, but you've never walked in mine."

It is my only desire to walk in His footsteps, the ones He foreordained for me before the foundation of the world. For me to walk in your footsteps is utter madness, but I: I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Phi 3:14
