I struggle also with sending money to large organizations like this, both Christian and non-Christian, because you don't really know firsthand what is happening with your donation. These individuals are all well off and although there is nothing wrong with that, you just don't know for sure what happens to your money. I tend to think that Pat Robertson is a good guy and wouldn't believe everything written about him. On the other hand, it is probably better if you can somehow help firsthand. Besides, we should make a practice of searching out and helping those TRULY needy everyday not just during large disasters like Katrina.
