To answer the questions you asked me...
My girlfriend did exchange some hurtful words with my mother, Yes. I am not sure if my family is trying to protect me or they have personal feelings towards her, maybe a combination of both. Before this happened they liked her 50/50 in my opinion. Maybe thats because the only time I came to my parents for help was when I was upset at her or we were bikering. BIG MISTAKE! I think many people do this without realizing the consequences. I do now. So heres what I am getting from your advise in basic terms A) Thank my family for their support B) This going to take time to fix. I do have one more quesion for you...Do you think I should let them know my intentions or should I keep my business "my business"? I think I should keep this my business for now, and then tell them at a later date, but that may not be 100% possible as I live only a town over. Just so you know I am going to see a therapist tuesday for some more help with this. Tweet
