Has anyone here done a high protein diet successfully as a vegetarian? I would like to try it and I am a lacto, ovo (dairy and cheese) vegetarian.
Any tips? Are nuts ok? What do you do for variety?
Here are the high protein foods I am thinking of using, with some vegetables every now and then, no fruits (or maybe yes, e.g. citrus?) and no grains:
tofu
cheeses
eggs
nuts
spirulina
oils
Sounds rather limited, huh? Any other ideas?
