I did not in the least think your query was directed to women. I was just citing another example. If women read these books they might feel disheartened to practice asanas. Similarly I think householders should not feel disheartened by what is said about this.
I know that Osho does not recommend Sirshasan at all, to anyone. He feels that it destroys cells in the brain. I don't agree, but mention it in case you are interested in reading what he has to say about it. I'm sorry I can't cite the specific book.
I will take a look at your blog when I have a chance. There are a couple of blogs I enjoy reading, but must say I don't feel compelled to author one myself. To me they reinforce a speed of life and a speed of comprehension that is much too fast for me. Like you must have insight each day and struggle to find something meaningful to say. Mostly I like to sit quiet....let things occur!
