Re: Who are we?
I am a 28 year old married female (no kids). I recently quit my job/career in international public health to go back to school to become a massage therapist. I needed to do something more fulfilling.
I am on day 7 and am aiming for 10 days. I'd love to do more, but we have Easter brunch plans and I would like to partake with some fruits and veggies. I plan to do this twice a year to keep my weight down, refresh my system and soul, and reexamine my relationship with food. So far I have lost 11
pounds and have more energy than ever before (I cleaned the entire house in 2 hours and I can't stop dancing!!). I am looking forward to clearer skin, shinier hair, and a clean body!
Besides the occasional food craving (but not hunger), this has been a lot easier than I expected. The hardest part for me is not being able to participate in food-related social outings. I never realized how much my social life revolves around food and drink!!
I love reading everyone's posts - this is a great buddy system!
