the thought of defending Saddam sickens me, but you need to face some facts. In those middle eastern countrys, that's how they act (killing each other) If Saddam was not the one doing it, then another dictator would do it.
This gassing propaganda thing needs to be addressed by thinking people. Of course it's wrong. But we should look at facts instead of U.S propaganda.
During the Iranian war, the iranians used mustard gas to kill a bunch of iraqis. most those pictures you see on the news were killed by mustard gas from the Iranians, not the iraqis. Saddam fought back with chemical weapons against the Iranians. some of the kurds were teaming up with the Iranians, so they got gassed to. This is kind of like the U.S peace protestor in Palenstine getting killed. U.s. hypocrits say she deserved it for trying to protect palestinian houses. Well, if we use that logic, didn't the kurds deserve it also for teaming with the Iranians. (not my logic, yours) Tweet
