What about Genetic Predisposition?

While I agree with the posts supporting the fact that cleansing and cleaning up ones diet can go a long way to preventing disease, surely you get deny the role that genetic predisposition plays in all of this. What do I mean? You may not be a slave to your genes and may able to prevent your genes from predisposing you to develop serious illnesses like diabetes. However, you are a product of your genes, and as such your genetic predisposition will interact with environmental factors in complex ways to increase your risk of developing illnesses. It boils down to differences in biological individuality, which is in large part a product of differences in genetic makeup.

Hey, just look around. The 350 lb man or woman who is seriously obese that eats all kinds of junk food, does not exercise, and still lives to the ripe old age of 90+. Doctors say these people are walking time bombs, and my example may not be the norm but there are exceptions. Then, how about someone who smokes all their lives, dies at age 90+ and never develops lung cancer. And how about the person, despite all his or her best efforts with diet and exercise, who dies of a massive heart attack and it is later learned that their was a history of heart disease in the person's family.

So, what is my point? When you don't have any genetic predispositions to disease, you may well be able to get away with bloody murder as far as un healthy Diet and lifestyle go, but mark my words, when there is a genetic predisposition in your family to serious disease, you pretty well darn take better care of yourself and fully put in practice everything and anything(cleansing, acid/alkaline balance, supplements, healthy diet, regular exercise, etc.,) to ward of what you may be genetically predisposed to or you may well pay the consequences and become the unwilling victim of your genes, no ands buts and ifs about that. And while you are at it, please don't go overkill with cleansing just cause someone says "keep flushing until you are clear." You could end up with more problems than you anticipated.
