Re: AA/NA Smoke and mirrors!

AA-they seem to get a lot of support and acclaim from people on this site-WHY,yes they give you the twelve step plan and support you while you are with them!!but when you fall off the plan and don`t go to meetings do they come to find you,see how you are,feed you.NO-they are gone ,just like everyone else.of course figures will be fudged-every organisation,drug company,hospital etc do it ,but its all done in a way that looks truthful because of the way its worded.WHY give AA the acclaim,those who get off drink do it because they want to,they go to the meetings,say no to "a quick one" they have the strength of their convictions they say no they are the ones who help themselves not AA,because we all know NO-ONE is gonna make you give up booze if you dont want to.so while they give support to those who go,its everyone who stops drinking that should get the credit its all of us who have done it after all,with or without their support.regardless of whether they are reformed drinkers or not Tweet
