Re: After 20 years, outbreaks are becoming more frequent. Why?
Verrrrrry interesting stuff! So then, it's not about figuring out what my "specific" triggers are, but learning about what types of foods contain the stuff (chemicals??) that trigger the virus in general? And, in going beyond food, figuring what type of environmental and physical influences can cause it? I think I'm understanding it a bit more.
Getting back to diet and lifestyle, in my own case, I'm puzzled by why, now with a healthier lifestyle, it's becoming more prevalent as opposed to when I partied, was constantly stressed out, ate a terrible diet, etc.? My life has gotten considerably easier of late and I make so many more healthier choices until it would seem as though the incidences would reduce and not increase. I hear what you're saying about diet, clothing, rest, etc....and I will definitely monitor adjustments where needed...but it just seems as though I was far less conscious 5, 10, 20 years ago and, now today, that I try to live as healthy as possible, I'm getting it more often. :( Is it possible that the virus mutates with age? Sounds funny, but I'm serious. lol
I've often wondered too why, for women, it often follows that time of the month. Anyone have any insight in this area?
48313, I'm greatly encouraged by your wisdom and insight on the topic. I promise you that I don't take it lightly. Thank you so very much!
