Re: After 20 years, outbreaks are becoming more frequent. Why?

I found this thread while searching for the same topic that is being discussed here. I first contracted Herpes from my 1st husband back in 93. Had very few breakouts until I hit my forties & married my 2nd husband. I am 43 & all of a sudden this desease has taken over my life. There is hardley a day goes by I don't have a breakout. I have tried every medication they make for herpes & none of them help. I finally quit wasting my money on the meds. I have tried changing my diet & cutting out the foods that were supposedly triggers, but that hasn't helped either. I have given up all the things I love to eat & drink. I have given up sex with my husband because of it. I don't understand it, but I have to live with it. Doctors don't know anything & can't help, so I'm in the same boat as some of you. Very, very frustrating.
