Re: How my hell health affects my mental health. Very obsessive..

I can certainly understand what you are going through, I am dealing with the same problem. I can spend time meditating, repeating affirmations, chanting, and doing EFT to tell my self I am healing. Then I try to stand up and walk, I am hit by pain and/or weakness and if I am not careful, I fall apart. Its so frustrating when your body does not work the way it should. There are very few days that go by when I am not reduced to tears of pain, fear, and frustration because I can't walk and have so much pain.

However, Lapis and the others speak the truth. We have to refocus our minds and stop obsessing and thus recreating poor health. Another problem with this negative thought process is that we often become self-defeating in our efforts to improve our health through diets and detoxification. Its easy to dull the pain with a cookie; even though ultimately, that cookie will cause more pain. We must develop the discipline to do what is necessary to restore our health. Ask yourself what is more important to you, the momentary pleasure of a cookie (or other treat), or the long term benefits of a healed body.

Right now you are probably approaching all this natural health with an attitude of "I hope this works" (that's how I came to be hopinso ~Hoping So~)Try and tell yourself "This will work, I will be healed", then go to "This is working, I am being healed", the you can say "I am healed". Affirm that health is the natural state and your body is going toward that state. Do not dwell on the negative, accept the aches and other symptoms as your body communicating to you that its time to make changes in your life. My dear friend Owen suggest that we talk to our body, tell it we love it. Try things like dry skin brushing, oil massage and conscious relaxation. Become aware of your body, how it feels. come to know the texture of your skin, feel the muscles and bones. Celebrate the fact that you are a wonderful and unique creation and learn to love your body. Don't hate or reject it because it has problems. If you have a pet, you surely care for it and let it know you love it; if you own a car you probably take proper care of it because you want good and reliable service. If you can do this, then treat your body like the loved and important thing it is. Self hatred or criticism must give way to accepting yourself as you are right now. Use this time to heal and nourish your inner self as well as your physical body.
