Re: Healing With Vegetables

hey Lee, I hear you on the weirdness of having a piece of your tooth break off and then another one crumble. I was really frightened when I felt a piece break off my tooth. In my case, I'm old enough that these big fillings I have had since childhood have finally worn out...and it's all happening sort of at once..so I have to keep breathing and letting go, and remembering to meditate. (Grace finds no place for fear and separation.)

I've had two dreams in the last few weeks wherein a bit of tooth fell out, followed by odd-shaped pieces of metal, and other parts that seemed to be holding my whole jaw together. Really scary dreams! I couldn't imagine how i'd survive without my teeth, and it seemed the scariest most 'hopeless' thing. (sorry) I kept spitting out more and more teeth, and trying to save all the pieces of tooth and metal and so on. Aweful really....and I think you know that I am in the midst of needing to replace a corner that cracked off one of those big teeth. That and another filling that 'fell out'. I'm going REALLY easy on my mouth right now. Trying to determine which dentist to go ahead with, as the Amalgam removal is (to me) a big deal. At the same time, I do lots of oil-swishing, and I just assert that it is good; strnegthening. It's calming. I'm eating good soups with some tofu.

I also made something with a whole bunch of chard blended up with avocado and lemon, and it's delicious. Like a green drink--but more a dinner.

I have heard that some postulate dreams about losing teeth have to do with family, and loosening the karmic bonds with members thereof...interesting idea.

I've also heard some feel it has to do with 'speaking one's truth'. Not in a silly "mine vs. yours" way, but more, just speaking Truth, minus all the
filters over that. No blame, no praise. That sort of thing. I don't know whether any of these thoughts will have any resonance for you whatsoever. I just wanted you to know I hear the concern...A few days back, I needed just to hear someone tell me that...Then, I felt I could work on letting go of fear. Moving forward.

I'm liking the organic sunflower oil. (for swishing)

best,

Chiron

*edit: I think the fruitarian path is difficult, hard to balance, and especally so if there are any unresolved tooth issues. (I remember Barefoot always ranted such on this subject, and I think he's right. That sort of cleansing will likely break down any structures that are already worn, and do it quicker.) I'd definitely encourage you to adopt a much more green approach -- more gentle? especially as long as you feel that acid is an issue for you. (and until you get your teeth fixed and feel less stress around all that.)

Green powder is great, but ( green) whole foods will make you FEEL the results more.
At least, that's my intuitive read. I love kale, chard, collards...parsley.
And all these can make good broths too...
